Andhra Pradesh Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy claimed that, the ruling party ensures to associate him with anything illegal that is happening in the country. The YCP chief challenging TDP questioned, “Chief Minister and the ruling party leaders have alleged that I have business relations with Orange Travels. Will the CM resign if he fails to prove the allegations that the proprietor of Orange Travels is my benami?”
It may be recalled that Kesineni Nani alleged that Orange Travels was run by Jagan’s benami when he staged high drama at the Transport Commissioners office along with MLA Bonda Uma Maheshwara Rao.
Speaking to media persons at the assembly, Jagan cleared the air that he has no relations with Orange Travels. The YCP leader alleged that TDP MP Kesineni and MLA Bonda went to meet the Transport commissioner N Balasubrahmanyam for personal reasons.
He expressed anger over the ruling party’s decision to arrest YSRC MLA Chevireddy Bashakara Reddy for staging a protest in the Assembly premises.
He further deplored that the government doesn’t act on those abusing the public servants but is ready to arrest a legislator who was seeking action against the ruthless behaviour.
Targeting the speaker, the opposition leader said, “Despite Bhaskara Reddy being a member of the Legislative House, the Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao did come to his rescue.”
Jagan held that the Chandrababu is resorting to “settlements” and high handedness to get their way of wrongdoings.
