Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu is on a high in his second innings. He is now one of the most in-demand artists in South India at present. The actor, we hear, has reportedly been signed up to play the antagonist in Tamil superstar Vijay’s next film which will be directed by Bharathan.
It is learnt that Jagapathi Babu’s style statement and powerful performances in recent times has been the clincher. A close source revealed that the veteran actor will play a merciless baddie in the film. Vijay, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming film Theri, will commence shooting for this film in May.
Jagapathi Babu has also been roped in for the villain’s role in Malayalam legendary actor Mohan Lal’s new film Puli Murugan.
