Anantapur MP J C Diwakar Reddy seems to be aggressive and bound to in an provoke TDP supreme and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu inviting `disciplinary action’ against him. The way in which he was issuing provocative statements directly targeting the Chief Minister confirming his intention for a `face-off’ with the Naidu.
It may be recalled that last night Chandrababu Naidu has directly cautioned against his `indiscipline’ and warned how big may be everyone should be abide to the party. He also make it clear he cannot tolerate criticism in the public against party and government.
It may be recalled that yesterday Diwakara Reddy ridiculing Naidu’s governance, said he is more depending on officials, than people’s representatives and refusing to hear advises.
Today again, he clearly indicated that he is not in a mood to care Chandrababu Naidu anymore. Regretting for remaining Anantapur and Kurnool districts in Andhra Pradesh during bifurcation of the state, he felt that they could have merged with Telangana.
He also didn’t mince words against Chandrababu Naidu alleging of neglecting these two districts and deplored “we are now forced to depend on the mercy of Chief Minister”.
He makes these hard-hit comments in the premises of Telangana assembly, while interacting with Finance Minister Etela Rajendra and leader of opposition K Jana Reddy. When Etela said that “you are having Srisialam water”, he quickly responded that “had we merged with Telangana we could have requested KCR to release water for us. If he refused we could have agitated stating ignoring us in Telangana.”
Her comments clearly indicating his distrust towards Chandrababu Naidu. After joining TDP, from the beginning he was not comfortable with the `political domination’ of district minister Paritala Sunitha, has since decades he has been treating her husband (late) Paritala Ravindra, his supporters are his `political enemies’. When he was enjoying greater authority during previous Congress regimes, he was allegedly used his mighty power to crush them.
On the otherhand, recently he seems to be impatient over growing prominence of Anantapur MLA Prabhakar Chowdary and Chief Minister mostly maintaining `neutrality’ on the contentious issues between them in Anantapur.
