Padmashri Kamal Haasan surprised the world with Vishwaroopam which has been directed by the actor himself. The sequel has been on board from sometime however it got pushed ahead due to various reasons. After many speculations about the release date, Kamal stepped out to reveal the real challenges behind the film’s delay. Kamal clarified that the movie has been kept on hold due to financial hurdles.
He said “The film’s producer Aascar Ravichandran is yet to release the funds after which I need to pay the salaries to my crew. The post-production work of the film is pending which will take six months more. To initiate this, I need to pay my crew and I am waiting for Ravichandran to do this. I already announced a cut down in my pay and we are doing our best to bring out Vishwaroopam 2”.
There are talks that Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger is in talks to grace the audio launch of the movie. Vishwaroopam 2 is the sequel for Kamal’s super hit film Vishwaroopam and it discusses about global terrorism.
