BJP leader and AP Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas dismissed even the slightest of chances of BJP – YSRCP alliance. Kamineni and Pratthipati Pullarao were present at the Mangalagiri Vegetable Market committee meeting. Speaking at the occasion, the ministers appreciated the Committee Chairman Vallabhaneni Sai Prasad.
Later, talking to the media representatives, Pratthipati Pullarao stated that, ‘the state government is considering the proposal of moving a no-confidence motion in the parliament. Moreover, I don’t think such a situation would arise. I hope that the Centre will take a favourable decision very soon’.
While, Kamineni said, ‘there is no way that BJP – YSRCP alliance will exist in the state. There is no way our party will work with a ‘corrupted’. BJP doesn’t entertain such kind of parties. I will resign to the ministry if the Centre directs me so.’
The comments passed by Kamineni have become a subject of discussion in state politics. With BJP – TDP spat exposed, many political analysts predicted that BJP – YSRCP is likely to take place. Even YSRCP’s stance during ‘Special Status protests’ in the parliament has fueled such speculations. With his comments, Minister Kamineni Srinivas has put an end to all such rumours and speculations.
