The Telangana chief minister’s decision to shift Dharna Chowk from Indira Park to city outskirts triggered protests from various parties and organisations. Responding to the allegations, KCR came down heavily on the protestors. He recalled that Dharna chowk was initially at Lumbini Park, later it was shifted to Indira Park. There are already GOs, that protests should be staged, at a distance from the Assembly and secretariat due to security reasons.
He further clarified that as government did not revoke the Dharna Chowk.
