Indore: Indian test captain Virat Kohli successfully clinched a risky single to bring up his 13th test century in the final test match being played at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. Captain Kohli, who faced 184 balls, hit 10 boundaries in order give a firm grip to the Indian side after it lost three early wickets.
Left handed Goutham Gambhir, who was called for the final test, started off with a disappointment knock of 29 runs. While the opener Murali Vijaya was out for 10 runs and Cheteshwar Pujara for 41.
Giving a stand to the Captain after Indian losing early wickets, Ajinkya Rahane is in the crease with 77 runs of 161 balls. After winning the first two test matches in the series the Indian team is looking upbeat to clinch the series with a whitewash.
