Super talented director Krish surprised the audience last year after grabbing National award for Kanche in the category of regional films. The ace director impressed Balayya and grabbed the prestigious 100th movie of Balayya which has been titled Gautamiputra Satakarni. The movie is one of the most awaited films and is aimed for Sankranthi release. This periodic drama created huge buzz after the release of the theatrical trailer and the audience have been left amazed with the quality of Gautamiputra Satakarni.

The movie has been shot in 79 working days and top director SS Rajamouli has been left surprised with the time and the film’s quality. An inside source revealed that Krish took many suggestions from Rajamouli who is closely bonded with him. Rajamouli insisted Krish not to use too many graphics for the film and he also asked to come out with the best background score which helps the film get elevated well. Krish kept all these in mind for Gautamiputra Satakarni which has been aimed for January 12th release. The movie received tax exemption in both the Telugu speaking states.
