NTR – Mahanayakudu released last Friday and is having a disastrous run at the Tollywood box-office. The film has been badly rejected so that it is struggling to collect a theatrical share of Rs 5 crores in its final run. Making things even worse, TDP leaders have been spreading messages that 50% of the tickets will be offered for TDP leaders, supporters and the expenses for these tickets will be borne by the party.
TDP Krishna District President Bachula Arjunudu has been spreading messages through WhatsApp asking all the cadre to watch the film without fail. He even clarified that the instructions came directly from Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu and the vigilance department kept a close watch on this. With the film already struggling, the acts of TDP leaders are making things even worse.
NTR – Mahanayakudu’s theatrical run is expected to end up in a week and will stand in the list of all time disasters of Telugu cinema. Krish directed the film and Nandamuri Balakrishna reprised the role of his father NTR in the prestigious biopic.
