There was huge excitement among the audience when news came out that legendary actor Mohan Lal is going to dub his own voice for Janatha Garage. Also, sources close to the actor revealed that he dedicated considerable time to get the hang of Telugu accent and took special classes to learn the language. For his recent Telugu outing, Manamantha, he dubbed his own voice to bring the authentic feel to the character he played.

Unfortunately, Mohan Lal hasn’t dubbed for his character in Janatha Garage. Although the reason is not yet known, it is learnt that Mohan Lal himself took the decision not to dub for the Telugu version and Koratala Siva concurred with his decision. Reportedly, Mohan Lal felt that his Telugu accent might not be enough to convey the intensity in the character and decided not to dub for Telugu version.

Janatha Garage is gearing up to hit the screens on September 2nd.
