Natural Star Nani has been unique with his picks and he is attempting different genres. Nani who is a sincere, disciplined actor is also a punctual star among the Tollywood actors. One thing that’s worrying the makers is huge remuneration. The actor hiked his fee several times after the pandemic. Nani is demanding more than Rs 25 crores per film. One fact is that the actor’s theatrical market hasn’t seen a huge rise in the past 5-6 years. But the non-theatrical market for Nani’s films witnessed a huge jump. This made Nani take handsome remuneration.
The makers of Hi Nanna could not sell off the theatrical rights for huge prices and they offered some of the regions of Andhra instead of paying the quoted remuneration for Nani. As the film is a class attempt, the film did not get huge numbers in Andhra Pradesh though it did well in Nizam and USA. Nani fell short of recovering his remuneration.
He now decided not to work with new producers in the near future. The actor is committed to professional filmmakers and there are talks that he gave a word for Venkat Boyanapally of Niharika Entertainment who produced Shyam Singha Roy with him. The producer went for an own release to overcome the hurdles and paid Nani his remuneration for the film. Nani is on a hunt for such producers in the coming future instead of giving a word for new producers.
He is in talks with Dil Raju, Sudhakar Cherukuri and others for his upcoming films.
