Municipal Administration Minister Botsa Satyanarayana has finally given clarifications on the Amaravati capital city works. He said that the recent rumours circulating on stopping of capital city works have no basis. The YCP government will continue these works but that will depend on the availability of funds and prioritisation.
Botsa held meetings with the officials of Capital Region Development Authority and related departments. He enquired about the status of different works already taken up. There are also indications that there will be no major deviations in capital city works. CM Jaganmohan Reddy has also started working from the Secretariat buildings and he is using the same premises used by Chandrababu Naidu to conduct review meetings.
The immediate priority of the YCP government is undoubtedly welfare schemes but at the same time development works will also be taken forward as per the funds availability.
