After a lot of noise about the losses and the business deals of NTR – Mahanayakudu, Nandamuri Balakrishna locked all the deals in favor if his buyers who lost hefty amounts because of Part 1. Telugu360 stood by the support of buyers and revealed several facts after which Balakrishna and the team of NTR stepped out with an impressive deal.
Here is the detailed deal inked between the buyers and distributors of NTR – Mahanayakudu:
Buyers across India need not pay a rupee to release NTR – Mahanayakudu and the film is offered for free for the same buyers who released NTR – Kathanayakudu. Even the expenses (prints and publicity) will be borne by the makers
The buyers across India can now recover 33% of the losses of the first installment and then the overflow amount will be shared with the makers. After recovering the 33% amount, the producer will take 60% of overflows and 40% of the revenue will be offered to the distributor to recover their losses.
Comparatively, US buyers managed to recover a relatively better amount from Part1, because of which they have been asked to pay Rs 1 crore for NTR – Mahanayakudu. The second installment should collect $285K USD for breakeven and the overflow amount to 1 million USD will be pocketed by the distributor.
Post 1 million USD, the makers will pocket 60% of the profits and the distributors will share 40% of the profits from NTR – Mahanayakudu till they recover the losses of NTR – Kathanayakudu.
If the buyers (USA and India) are still left in losses, Balakrishna and his team promised to offer the theatrical rights of his next production films for reasonable prices considering their deals first.
Finally, Balayya and his team stepped out to rescue and bail out the buyers of NTR through NTR – Mahanayakudu which is releasing on February 22nd all over.
