Tamil superstar Suriya is gearing up for the release of his upcoming action drama ‘S III‘ which is the third installment of Singam franchise. Directed by Hari, the cop drama has Shruthi Haasan and Anushka Shetty as the female leads. The shooting has been wrapped up and the film is slated for December 23rd release.

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad recently, Suriya revealed the backdrop of ‘S III’ film. He stated that the story is set in Vizag based on a real incident that took place during the regime of NTR and MGR while they were chief ministers of Andhra and Tamil Nadu. He added that the story is packed with many interesting elements to keep the audience hooked throughout the film.

Predominantly shot in and around Vizag and Nellore, S III has its music score done by Harris Jayraj.
