Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Saturday met TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu in the latter’s residence in Hyderabad. He was accompanied by Jana Sena Political affairs committee chairman Nadendla Manohar.
Naidu is on bail on health grounds from October 31. He underwent medical check-up at AIG hospitals in Hyderabad for two days. Later, he visited the L V Prasad Eye Institute for cataract operation. He is likely to undergo cataract surgery in the next couple of days.
Pawan Kalyan spent nearly 30 minutes with Chandrababu Naidu and is understood to have spoken about the party’s joint programmes to be taken up from this month.
Pawan Kalyan enquired about Chandrababu Naidu’s health condition and extended support to the TDP chief. He condemned his arrest and said there is need to send chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy out of power. They both discussed the political situation in Andhra Pradesh and the joint programmes of the TDP and Jana Sena.
Chandrababu Naidu thanked Pawan Kalyan and Jana Sena for standing by the TDP in the hours of crisis. He emphasised the need to work together and ensure that the anti-government vote is not divided and TDP-Jana Sena win the next election.
