Versatile actor Prakashraj has been a remarkable actor and he achieved many great heights with his performance. His second film as director has been titled Ulavacharu Biryani and the movie has been declared as a massive flop. After a decent gap he is back with his latest movie Mana Oori Ramayanam which released during Dasara. The movie has been receiving decent response from the audience however the collections have been quite low. Prakashraj released a video through his social networking page revealing that he has been threatened by many filmmakers to make commercial film instead of Mana Oori Ramayanam.

He said “I have come with a honest attempt however it is the responsibility of the audience to entertain such movies.I have the capability to make an out and out commercial film, however I am not disappointed and will continue coming up with honest films”.

Frankly saying Mana Oori Ramayanam is a honest attempt and it has an interesting screenplay along with some path-breaking performances by Prakashraj, Priyamani and Prudhvi. Mana Oori Ramayanam has a poetic narration with a heart touching climax. The audience come out saying they fail to witness honest movies however movies like Mana Oori Ramayanam have not been accepted at the ticket windows. This is the reason most of the filmmakers have been taking the regular commercial format.
