Former MP and APCC Chief Raghuveera Reddy called for unity among all political parties, in a bid to save the pride of Andhra People. The former minister spoke at the Vijayawada press club.
‘The people of Andhra have revolted against the injustice done by the Centre in the Union Budget, by carrying out a statewide bandh yesterday. In this context, we shall end this injustice by protesting in Delhi on March 6th, 7th, and 8th. In the presence of all the media personnel, I kindly request every political from Andhra Pradesh, putting aside the parties, to come and fight for the pride of Andhra people.
Let us stage protests, and carryoutdemonstrations on March 6th and 7th, and finally seal the parliament, by surrounding it on March 8th. I also invite social organizations and NGOs along with the political parties to come and fight for the common cause. From February 20th to 28th, I will carry out ‘Andhrula Athmagourava Deeksha’ [Pride of Andhra People] in front of every Divisional Revenue Office in the state for one day,’ said Raghuveera Reddy.
The former MP was seen at the Parliament yesterday, alleging that the Centre is showing prejudice towards Andhra Pradesh, and TDP & YSRCP have surrendered to BJP for their personal gains.
