After wrapping up Kabali, Superstar Rajinikanth flew to US along with his family for a long vacation. This has invited rumours in the media about Rajinikanth’s health condition. But, close sources to the actor denied stating that he is doing absolutely fine. He returned to Chennai recently and is gearing up to commence shooting for his next film, Robot 2.0.
The latest update reveals that Rajinikanth will resume shooting from the 23rd of this month in Chennai. The unit has completed filming portions without Rajinikanth and they are now only left some important episodes that feature him. It is learnt that Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar will also join the sets shortly and the makers are planning to wrap up the remaining part in a single stretch.
Directed by Shankar, 2.0 is a sequel to his 2010 blockbuster sci-fi thriller, Robot. Made on a 250 Crore budget by Lyca International banner, the film its music score done by AR Rahman.
