Telangana working president of TDP Revenath Reddy met MIM floor leader in Assembly Akbaruddin Owaisi on Monday which has raised many eyebrows. The duo held a one-on-one meeting for about two hours. Reddy refused to comment and stalled away by saying that the purpose of the meeting had nothing to do with politics.
While Prime Minister calls TDP an ally, Revanth Reddy is drifting away from the saffron party in Telangana. He said the TDP would never go along with BJP in Telangana which adopts double standards. He went ahead to say that there is no need to have BJP unit in the newly formed state.
Reddy said that on one hand, BJP is fighting against TRS and is aspiring to come to power in 2019, on the other Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi showering praises on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao exposes the hypocrisy of the party.
BJP MLC N Ramchandra Rao expressed that it could be personal opinion of Revanth Reddy and not that of TDP.
