Telangana state Irrigation and Marketing minister T Harish Rao has gone ‘hi- tech’ . He will make himself available to ministers, MLAs and other people’s representatives round the clock through a new whatsapp.

Perhaps, Harish Rao could be the first minister of any state connected to all people’s representatives through an App application in the country.

After creating 22 whatsapp groups to monitor the functioning and performance of the Irrigation department and progress in the project works last year , another mobile application called “ Minister Harish Rao” has been activated on Wednesday.

Harish will be in touch with all group members and addressing the issues with regard to irrigation, particularly Mission Kakatiya , Marketing and Mining raised by the group members. He would also seek suggestion on the particular issues from the members and share the developments taking place in irrigation sector. Government orders issued by his department would also be displayed from time to time.

To begin with, on the first day, Harish sent a voice message to all group members exhorting them to make a grand success the second phase of the Mission Kakatiya programme being launched soon in all districts, which received overwhelming response from the members.

The new application would also help Harish to give instructions online to all his officials for the disposal of pending issues instantly.
