Andhra Pradesh assembly today adopted a resolution suspending two opposition MLAs from the house for two days. The resolution was moved by the legislative affairs minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and the house adopted it with voice vote.
The members, Rachamallu Siva Prasad Reddy and Ramalingeswar Rao , according to the minister, had been obstructing the camera of the House. Speaker, since morning had been warning the members to block the cameras in the House affecting the live telecast of the proceedings. finally, around 12.30, amid uninterrupted the commotion from the YSRC MLAs, minister Ramakrishnudu moved the resolution for suspension of the House. This is the first suspension of the winter session which is being rocked by the Call Money cum Sex Racket scam.
Even though chief minister Naidu assured that the government would make a statement tomorrow, YSRCP members did not resume their seats. They continued raising the slogans against the government and call money.
Later, the speaker adjourned the House for the third time, but for the day.
