Padmashri Kamal Haasan wrapped up the shoot of Vishwaroopam 2 sometime ago. The film has been struck with financial hurdles and Kamal himself revealed the news. With the film’s producer Ascar Ravichandran funding back, the post-production work of the film started in USA. Kamal directed Vishwaroopam 2 and he will be seen as a RAW agent in the film. The makers are in plans to release the first teaser of the film during Eid this year.

Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Andrea and Shekar Kapur will be seen in other pivotal riles in Vishwaroopam 2. Kamal is in plans to wrap up all the post-production work at the earliest and release the film during this Diwali on October 18th this year. Produced by Aascar Films and Raajkamal Films International, Vishwaroopam 2 is made on a massive budget. Vishwaroopam 2 will release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam languages. Kamal is busy shooting for Sabash Naidu currently.
