Actress Shriya Saran will play the female lead role in the prestigious 100th film of Nandamuri Balakrishna. The actress has been chosen at the last minute and frantic efforts are now being made to get her wardrobe ready in time for the shoot.

Krish and his team have already finalised some fabrics and colour palettes for the heroine sometime back. But they need to be adjusted and customised for Shriya now. The actress is also undergoing some basic training to help her carry out a period role with ease.

Shriya and Balakrishna have teamed up for Chennakesava Reddy many years ago.
