Indragant Mohana Krishna is one of the sensible directors in Tollywood. He is riding high after hattrick successes – Gentleman, Ami Thumi, Sammohanam . In a recent interview, he made subtle satires on director Ram Gopal Varma.
Indraganti did his Master of Fine Arts degree from York University, Canada. After doing Masters, he made a short film ‘Chali’ with shoestring budget.. Ramgopal Verma offered direction chance to Indraganti after watching this short film in 2004. That time RGV was national level director as he made blockbusters like ‘Company’ in bollywood at that time. RGV gave him a chance but after seeing output of the film, RGV was shocked and lambasted Indraganti saying “you made a worst film” and called him “unfit” to be director. Indraganti revealed he went into depression after this incident but later his mother encouraged him and he came back to his own track later.
Indraganti told, even though there is no personal enmity with RGV and they do talk nicely to each other when they meet, he will never forget the way he was rejected by RGV. Indraganti added, we should believe in ourselves even if some gigantic personality criticizes your work and move ahead in life.
