2017 is proving out to be quite an unlucky year for actress Lavanya Tripathi. All three released films of hers this year: Radha, Mister and Yuddham Sharanam bombed at box office. And, the beautiful actress has recently lost 2 potential films because of a misunderstanding.
Lavanya has earlier signed director Parasuram’s new film starring Vijay Deverakonda. Bunny Vasu produces this film on GA2 Pictures, a subsidiary of Geetha Arts. The actress has recently signed another film, the Tamil remake of ‘100% Love’. As the heroine’s character in the Tamil film has as much screen time as hero’s, Lavanya was asked to allot bulk dates, and she signed a contract to this effect.
When Director Chadramouli, who will be directing the Tamil remake of 100% Love, came to know about Lavanya acting in GA2 film too, he called Bunny Vasu and apprised him of the bulk dates’ contract that she had signed for his film. He also conveyed that Lavanya may not be readily available for their film as she will be occupied with his Tamil film.
Fearing that their film might get delayed because of Lavanya’s multiple commitments, Bunny Vasu and director Parasuram started holding discussions of replacing her. The ‘Andala Rakshasi’ actress was quite disturbed upon learning this as the producers and directors of the two films were holding discussions without even asking her once about how she could accommodate dates for both the films. A vexed Lavanya walked out of both the films.
Rising Kannada actress Rashmika Mandanna has replaced Lavanya in the GA2 film, an official announcement has also been made in this regard. ‘Kumari 21F’ star Hebah Patel is in talks to replace Lavanya in ‘100% love’ remake.
