TDP chief and CM Chandrababu Naidu accused Jaganmohan Reddy of bringing in a new trend of politics by encouraging only one-time players into his party during election time. CM is indirectly mocking at the desperate attempts of YCP to attract leaders from the TDP.
Naidu said Jagan has no passion for public service nor full-time interest in politics which is why he is promoting only part-time or one-time players to contest on his party tickets.
Naidu further accused Jagan of promising and giving his party MLA tickets to only those who are arriving into his party with bags full of cash. His comments assumed significance in the backdrop of rumours that YCP is fielding ‘cash parties’ in assembly segments this time so as to avoid any risk in winning chances. But this kind of approach will not give results to any political party which has no emotional connection with the public.
Naidu held a tele conference with party leaders from Amaravati. He said this time the TDP will weigh all aspects and announce MLA tickets without wasting any time. He said that for Jagan, everything is business including the elections but this is not the style of TDP which will give top priority to public service.
